EveryScape Founder to Present Session at Where 2.0

Mok Oh to discuss adoption of 3D technologies

Waltham, MA (March 31, 2010) — Today, EveryScape, creator of “The Real World Online,” announced that Founder and CTO, Mok Oh, will present a mapping session address at this year’s Where 2.0 Conference in San Jose on March 31, 2010.

During his “Is 3D Really Worth It?” session, Oh will provide a framework from which to discuss pros and cons of 3D for the Where 2.0 audience starting with the early days of 3D, current developments, and moving into what the future of 3D may bring. The keynote session will also explore how 3D technologies are being adopted and used for the Where 2.0 community, in addition to how the Web and Where 2.0 communities are affecting the computer graphics and vision communities. All of this will be explained in simple format that a novice can understand.

EveryScape lets businesses and organizations build engaging, immersive relationships with consumers through three-dimensional, photo-realistic experiences of cities & towns, streets & sidewalks, and building exteriors & interiors. EveryScape's patented technology platform allows anyone with a browser to experience a first-person, eye-level walk down a "scaped" street, gather and share information on businesses and attractions, virtually enter a store and shop, check restaurant menus and reviews or upcoming theater performances.

Since its launch in 2002, EveryScape has grown to include more than 20 cities in 4 countries, and the company recently secured $6 million Series C financing in a strategic round led by SK Telecom Americas. This new financing will launch EveryScape's Asian market strategy, as well as propel the company's steady growth in the U.S.
